George Prior, London, England, triple cased verge fusee for the Turkish market, key wind and set, gilt plate movement with pierced and engraved balance cock and engraved regulator plate, in an open face triple case, the outer case in silver, and with under painted horn and pique decoration, the inner cases of an unidentified, silver colored metal, white enamel dial signed "George Prior London", gold hands, serial #42339, 76mm, c1820

CASE: Inner cases may be replaced; Outer case missing one pin; A few splits in horn at catch rivet; Inner cases with minor scratches; Bow replaced. DIAL: Hairlines in enamel, very light; Flakes in enamel concealed by bezel; Scratches minor to dial. HANDS: Mismatched. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratches on plate; Bright work has minor oxidation; Loose fit in case. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Good staff, fusee clicks do not hold when winding.
